This video demonstrates how to place electrodes for a 5 lead placement for a cardiac/telemetry monitor for a patient to wear during a hospitalization. I discuss the Right Arm Lead (RA), Right Leg Lead (RL), V1 chest lead, Left Arm Lead (LA), Left Leg Lead (LL) and how to remember the placement of a telemetry monitor white, green, brown, black, and red (snow over grass, smoke over fire, and chocolate in the middle)

    @kathyblount19873 years ago I do have a question. What do you suggest for artifact? Meaning, the pectoral muscles are creating a great deal of artifact, for exampletremors. Where could i put the electrodes in that case?

    @StarrBabe6433last year It' s worth saying that buttoning the electrodes onto the leads before placing them on the patient is best policy. It' s a lot more comfortable for the patient, otherwise thank you for the refresher.
