National Zookeeper Week 2020

As #NationalZooKeeperWeek comes to a close, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to our passionate team of 52 zookeepers at the heart of our zoo family. They’re essential to the 1,000 creatures they love and care for 365 days a year, and we celebrate their expertise in zoo sciences, including: animal behaviour, husbandry, training, nutrition, conservation breeding, enrichment, techniques – deliver exemplary care, challenging enrichment opportunities, and exceptional habitat management. A shout out of appreciation to the: - 7 who support the Devonian Wildlife Centre for Conservation - 2 who support the Animal Health Centre and our extraordinary veterinarians and animal health technicians - 11 supporting the Canadian Wilds - 14 supporting Africa - 8 supporting Eurasia - 3 supporting Penguin Plunge - 3 supporting our fantastic program animals ...and of course those who support our commissary operation!
