A Librarian's World: English Language Newspapers in Multi-Ethnic Colonial Singapore

Senior Librarian Gracie Lee introduces some of the lesser known newspaper titles from the National Library’s collection. Newspapers such as Malaya Tribune, The Straits Eurasian Advocate, The Straits Chinese Herald and the Japanese-owned Singapore Herald were established to give voice to the worldviews, concerns and interests of the communities they represent.
