Rachael Ray wasn't available! So Jen makes an emu quiche! Farm Girl cooks Green Egg & Ham & Cheese quiche! Exoman had first suggested that Rachael Ray should come to the farm and prepare a quiche during the laying season for the emus but she was unavailable at the time (wink). Imagine if Farm Girl was a celebrity chef! Ham, cheese, onion, salt and pepper make a perfect and simple dish! The pie crust used was a store bought roll up. Maybe Farm Girl should recreate Rachel Ray's lingerie shoot! It was cooked in a preheated oven at 350 degrees until firm. FACTS: The egg used is an Emu egg Rachael Ray has not (as far as we know) used emu egg in a dish yet. Farm Girl has Emus and chickens on the Banshee moon Farm These emu eggs taste like chicken eggs when used in quiche Farm Girl has not confirmed or denied being Rachael Ray's sister ;-) Farm Girl is not yet a famous chef.
