This was one of my most challenging undertakings to date. Since the future movie's cast is unknown and MJ's music is required for a nice trailer, everything deviates from the usual style of dream trailers, therefore I had to improvise. What made the first trailer so spectacular was the use of recent excerpts from MJ tribute performances that displayed the big audience I had assembled for it. We need genuine famous actors to give this a real movie feel, so I cast Samuel L. Jackson as Joe Jackson, Michael's father. Since Chris Tucker and Michael are best friends in real life, their presence is essential.
