Built as a Sport 5 from new by John Cooper Garages this car is very rare and has a Jack Knight 5 speed gearbox. In this update I prepare my rare Cooper Si Sport 5 for show after being sat in the workshop. I use Turtle Wax Colour Magic to help hide a few stone chips and I have a go at paintless dent removal

@stevestone43464 years ago I think you could get away with painting that bonnet as it doesnt butt up to the wings thanks to the cooper stripes! My tip for avoiding stone chips is dont follow to close behind other cars especially at motorway speeds. 1

@markdraper74 years ago Remember that dent in the wing of KITT? Dentz got that out and he used a little bit of heat with a heat gun to make the metal more pliable. 1

@chrispenn7154 years ago Hi Keith - there's always a debate about the handling of the standard MPI Cooper versus the MPI Sport with its bigger wheels. Now you have both with Sprout and P111OOW, do you have view on the difference and do you prefer one over the other? Cheers ... 1
