@dkau7029last yearI have a few ideas and an observation or criticism of tesla. if tesla wants rural people i. E. Farmers and those of us who live in the country which adding winch attachment points front and rear would again increase desirability in the midwest regions as an electric vehicle has torque to spare and loggers would love a stripped-down version for work rigs without all the city people' s luxuries that make it so costly although you could make them optional. Most of us in rural areas that need a dependable truck buy one that will look (ok) if we have to go into the city or town, but it will mainly be used for work so it must be able to navigate the dirt trails while hauling a tractor without getting stuck and if it does we dont want to call for a tow if we can help it so a wench is wonderful. remember there are 4. 1 million miles of roads and about 52% are unpaved and a lot of us live in those areas, think un-managed dirt roads with washout ruts and potholes that can take your wheel out. A lot of the country roads are unmanaged, and we must drive on them for miles at times. airless tires seem good, but will they last on the aforementioned dirt or gravel roads. With rocks getting logged into them. I love tesla but the main reason i don' t buy one is it would fall apart having to drive on mostly gravel and unpaved roads. i would love this truck but again it is a city rig not meant for real working conditions. It looks cool but it is like a hummer. They look great but they are not really meant for back country living and work too much like a danali hauling a backhoe it would be. This tesla is or people who are looking for status and who want to look cool and manly. Like when they go outdoor campong they don' t bring along a rolling hotel. Out here in the country it is not uncommon for us to just toss a sleeping bag in the back of the truck bed and go fishing for the weekend no tent nothing maybe beer and meat in the ice chest, but you get the idea. our needs and wants are radically deferent then city dwellers. the tesla truck would need to be lifted a few inches to allow for extra clearance and it needs to have heavy suspension for hauling, and i don' t see that tesla will ever be meant for use by the half of the population which does not live like you all do in the city. one day i hope you all remember you could have potential customers in the rural areas. Until then at least chevy focus a little bit on our needs. we in rural areas do like your goals but it is clear your focus is only on city people who really just need a car or a subaru type vehicle but want a truck for the coolness factor. ...Expand
