The idea that someone could make content with their phone or their laptop, build their audience from there and craft careers and earn money via their personality and the strength of their content outside of traditional media gatekeeping made for an interesting time in media. Now for these millionaire media personalities, beneficiaries of that traditional gatekeeping system, to make this stupid video about how non-media personalities should stop trying to make content is sickening. The media loves to pretend it' s there to inform go on youtube and other outlets, let the public decide what they want to watch. They will scream but how are they to get their news, well i don' t think most people want facts but to confirm their opinions and honestly i no longer trust the media at all. It takes time to find the facts but it' s worth the effort to dig to find the truth and the media doesn' t worry about putting the hard work in. ...Expand 3
