Isla Mujeres, Cancun finally OPENS FOR TOURISM in 2020 !! This is our first time visiting Isla Mujeres, Cancun as the island opens for tourism in 2020 during COVID-19 pandemic. We take a boat tour from Cancun to Isla Mujeres, swim with whale sharks and manta ray which is one of the best activities/things to do in Cancun. What To Expect: Snorkeling/swimming with whale sharks in Cancun 1. The whale sharks season in Cancun is between June - September 2. The travel time to the marina takes about 2 hours from Punta Sam pier in Cancun (where the boats set sail from) 3. Sunscreen is not allowed unless you use the chemical-free and paraben-free sunscreen ( They suggest you apply sunscreen at least 2 hours before getting in the water - We really love the fact that they are so cautious about environment and nature here ) 4. They require you to always wear a lifejacket for safety 5. This tour is like a surprising adventure- it is up to nature and unpredictable. We only expected to see the whale sharks, but then we encountered big turtles and manta ray by accident !:) 6. It's whale shark snorkeling tour, but you get extra is that once the swimming with whale shark part is over, they take you towards Isla Mujeres, which is a small (BUT BEAUTIFUL) island off the coast of Cancun. Even though we could not enter the island, but the boat anchored in a shallow area where the water was crystal clear and you can swim there 7. The crew also served us some fresh ceviche with tortilla chips (It's included in the tour) ▶︎ CONTACT TRISH for the same tour that we took (snorkeling with a whale shark, visiting Isla Mujeres - Playa Norte, having lunch on the boat) ⇢ Trish YouTube : https://bit.ly/2Zk4Y0w ⇢ Trish Instagram : https://bit.ly/3flMFNW ⇢ Trish website : https://bit.ly/391pJkN __ ☀️ MORE OF DIVERTLIVING : ⇢ Share when you're watching by tagging us in INSTAGRAM STORIES: http://bit.ly/2SGZOJo ⇢ EXCLUSIVE video and access to Livestream: http://bit.ly/2lEZ9cr ⇢ DivertLiving High-Quality Merch (FREE Worldwide Shipping) http://bit.ly/3bWlyYp __ 🔆 SPECIAL THANKS TO : ▶︎ Divertliving Patreon Member : * Producing these travel episodes can be time-consuming and expensive and if you would like to support our work, you can find our Patreon page here: http://bit.ly/2lEZ9cr * PATREON PERKS also Include : Exclusive unlisted video, Behind-The-Scenes, Livestream & More (We want to give you extra value for your support ❤︎ ) __ Since we have moved to Mexico, we got tons of messages asking if it's worth traveling Mexico right now, is it safe, are the tour and non-essential businesses open back up in Mexico - We answered them all in this video : https://bit.ly/3hLrR3Y ⇢ Struggling in Mexico during COVID-19 https://bit.ly/2Y7SJTW ⇢ Our $900 USD apartment tour in Mexico Caribbean beach town of Puerto Morelos🇲🇽 : https://bit.ly/3eY30YC ⇢ Flying During COVID-19 (the USA to Mexico) 🇺🇸🇲🇽 : What is it like for international flying during COVID-19 pandemic? @ricecookerbaking4 years ago Wow. How majestic! I want to see one of them up close one day. And Yum 😋 Ceviche! Fresh and healthy delicious! When my husband and I were in Mexico and chartered a private fishing boat... caught lots of great fish, which we donated to a local orphanage... but the crew made ceviche with one of the fish for lunch... oh so yummy! ... 3

@mengberg10004 years ago You were lucky to travel there during Covid. I went last summer. When I got to the Whale Sharks, there were about 50 boats there and I had 10 people on my boat so time with the Sharks was really limited. I would hope that you got to spend much more time with them since there were so few people on your boat. I also stayed on Isla Mujeres for a week and it was wonderful! ...
