I made this Rubber Band Powered Boat last December. This is it's first test on the boating lake and it does pretty well. A rudder might have been a good addition to help steer it in the right direction. The link to the original build video is down below. I also test out my little RC boat as a recovery vessel. If you have a question it is probably worth reading this video description first because the answer may already be here. To help you find my videos I made two search guides /watch/wgcHOoOSBecSH or /watch/kRYwkwgU4jZUw or checkout my playlists page /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/playlists?flow=grid&view=1 Main components - Polystyrene packaging Wooden stick from firework rocket Plastic propeller bearing from toy plane Plastic propeller from helicopter toy Paper clip Rubber bands Main Tools - Hot Glue Gun Sharp hobby knife Filmed using HTC One Mini mobile phone Edited using Serif MoviePlus Starter Edition Original build video /watch/rz00LEsyZjgSkz8E9SUv42BrSRPx2a5ALP=tsil?sfNrMe7TQBYT0 Related playlists Toy Boats playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB24vUS9E8zkSgjZysEL00zr Rubber Band Power playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB1otXh0w36OwsYIHZznUWp6 I have over 2000 videos on YouTube covering a wide range of subjects. To find them follow my search guides /watch/wgcHOoOSBecSH or /watch/kRYwkwgU4jZUw or see my playlists page /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/playlists?flow=grid&view=1 Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap. /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan
