Joe Black (The Gang´s All Here- Part 4/13) Wimbledon Theatre 1992 HD

This show was organised, produced and compered by Jack Seaton on behalf of the RAF gang shows and called "The Gang´s All Here". In this clip (part 4 of 13) Joe Black sings "the best things in life are free". "British comedian Joe Black died in England on August 12, 1999. He was 81. Black was born in Yeadon, England on May 6, 1918. He began performing juggling and acrobatic tricks with his parents at variety show while in his teens. He was soon doing comedy sketches and routines. During World War II he performed in Ralph Reader´s RAF Gang Show, entertaining the troops in Britain and North Africa. He continued his carer long after the war, often performing at the London Palladium. He also appeared on British television variety shows and starred in "Are you ready Mr Magill?", an ITV tele-play during the 1970´s. Black continued to entertain through the 1980´s, appearing as British comic Charlie Naughton in the theatrical production of "Underneath the Arches" , a musical biography of comics Bud Flanagan and Chesney Allen."- The Times (of London). There were also members from the 1932 show who made appearances such as John (Dink) Rew, Syd Palmer, Jim Figg, Harry Eltham, Ernie Emerick, Phil Davies, Johnny Groves, Andy Gregory and Dennis Osborne This was a charity performance so all of the acts would have given of their time freely and were not paid. This entire show has been put into 13 parts on my channel in a playlist called "The Gang´s All Here". It will include all scenes from the show and not just the big name spots.
