My Rubber Band Powered Car 4 carries 5 lb for 2m

I was asked what weight my Rubber Band Powered Car #4 can carry. Unfortunately the original car no longer exists as it has been "played with" by my grandchildren. I do have the original cardboard chassis so the easiest way to answer the question is to rebuild the car and put some weights on it. This video is shot in real time with minimal editing so it runs for about 15 minutes and includes the build and the testing. I tested it carrying 5lb over 2m. It would have gone further with less weight and maybe it could have gone further with more rubber bands but I did notice the axle was beginning to bend a bit. This car was never designed to carry weights and I would suggest my #8 for that sort of thing, but I admit that one is a little more complicated to build.
