My family loves bread at supper time. I make this recipe very often. It is quick and never fails me. Hope you all enjoy seeing how I make these delicious dinner rolls.
HEIDI'S MELT AWAY DINNER ROLLS
4 CUPS OF FLOUR
1 PACKAGE OF YEAST
1/3 CUP SUGAR
1 TSP SALT
1 CUP OF WHOLE MILK (I USED ORGANIC, I PERSONALLY THINK IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE)
1/3 CUP OF BUTTER
3 EGG YOLKS
AND ABOUT 3 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER TO BUTTER TOPS WHEN DONE.
OVEN 375 DEGREES 20 TO 25 MINUTES
Melt Butter In with milk. Don't allow the tempter to go over 115 degrees.
Add in sugar then stir in yeast. Allow to set for five minutes. Make sure your yeast is dated properly.
Pur in the rest of ingredients. Mix with a dough hook on a KitchenAid.
Place into a oiled bowl and cover to rise.
I place mine in a oven with oven light on. Do not turn oven on.
After doubling in size. I roll into balls. Placing on a greased glass pan. Cover and allow to rise again. About an hour. Then time to bake. Butter tops when done.
