Hello dear friends, today we learn how to make puli inji recipe (injicurry / inji puli). In this video I have demonstrated the simplest method to make kerela style inji curry with very few ingredients. This recipe is very tasty and easy to make at home. Ingredients
Ginger - 300 gms
Jaggery - 3-4 tspn
Tamarind juice - 1/2 cup
Green chillies - 3-4 tspn
Garlic (chopped) - 1 tspn
Chilli powder: 1 tspn
Turmeric powder: 1/4 tspn
Red chillies - 4-5 nos
Mustard seeds- 1 tspn
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tspn
Asafetida - 1/4 tspn
Oil - 1 cups
Curry leaves
Salt
Method:-
1. Clean the ginger well and slice into 1/4 inch size.
2. Heat a kadai and pour enough oil, then fry the ginger slices till turns to brown colour.
3. Strain well and spread on a tissue paper and let it cool down.
4. Grind the fried ginger using a mixer jar.
5. Heat some oil and splutter mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds together.
6. Add red chillies, curry leaves, chopped garlic, chopped green chillies and fry well on medium flame.
7. Add asafetida powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and saute well on low flame.
8. Add ground ginger, then mix with masala well.
9. Add required salt and jaggery. Saute till oil separates.
10. Pour tamarind juice and little water finally boil to a thick consistency.
11. Serve with rice/biriyani.
