If you want to get better at pull-ups/chin-ups you WILL need to do them weekly at least 1-2x during your training. But this shouldn’t be REPLACING the other stuff if getting better at these is the goal. We still want to work and train and develop our chest, shoulders, biceps, triceps, back and core in the gym too. Depending on the hand placement you’re using these muscles to help you move your body weight. We need to gain muscle and strength to use it. This does not mean your pull/chin up variations aren’t contributing to this — they are! But we want to do more than JUST that to get an overall stronger upper body than can help you toward those goals! 💪🏻💪🏻
