This talk about stone countertops is just one of the many presentations available for continuing education through the Natural Stone Institute or other accredited organizations. Please note that watching this course does not qualify you for any credits. To earn credits you will need to attend a live event. Live events occur in person and through webinars. Your attendance is logged and your completion certificate indicates that you earned CEU credits for that event.
In this presentation, I discuss the behavioral characteristics of natural stone surfaces, their similarities, and differences, the process of taking a counter from quarry to kitchen, care & maintenance, as well as some of the current trends in the business. After the presentation, I talk about Antietch, the marble sealer that everyone is talking about. Antietch is a 10-year warranty protective sealer for marble and other calcium-based surfaces. It makes marble easy to choose for your kitchen counters because those ring marks, drips, dots, and other etches don't happen anymore.
I would like to say thank you to Ann Sacks and the fabulous staff in Costa Mesa California and Southern California for hosting this event. I hope to have many more in the future.
