INGREDIENTS
* Yellow moong dal / pesarapappu - 1 cup s
* Jaggery - 3/4 cup
* Sugar - 1/2 cup
* Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
* Fresh grated coconut - 3 tbsp
* 1 cup urad dal ,2 cups rice ,1 tbsp chana dal soaked for 6-8 hours and grinded to make thick batter for coating (just like Dosa better but not thin )
METHOD
1. Make Dosa better , add salt and keep it aside .
2. Soak yellow moong dal for 2-3 hours and grind to a paste . Now pour the batter in idly plates and steam nicely till they cook. Remove them and once cooled down crush them in a mixie jar .
3. In a pan heat 1 tbsp ghee add coconut fry for 2 min and then add the sugar and Jaggery along with a tbsp is water and let it melt .
4. Now add the crushed moongdal mixture and cook for 4-5 min till it soaks the syrup . Add cardamom powder ,turn off and let it cool down .
5. Make small round shape balls dip them in the Dosa batter and deep fry in the oil . Make sure to coat properly .
6. Fry till they turn golden brown and remove .
7. Make a hole in the center of the boori add ghee and enjoy 😊
