In this full tutorial I will show you how to crochet this table runner and CUSTOMIZE THE LENGTH using the cluster stitch, double crochet, single crochet, picot, and treble crochet. This table runner is made in one continuous string and is easy once you know what to do. For this project I used a size 1.8mm steel crochet hook and size 10 crochet thread. To customize the width you can try these two options( Whichever makes more sense to you Option 1 or Option 2) Option 1: Do your beginning chain in multiples of 3 then ADD 8. In this tutorial I use 45 +8=53 chains. So you need a minimum of 45 + 8. Therefore if you want to expand the width, you expand it in increments of 24 chains. So your next value would be 69 + 8 = 77 chains etc. Option 2: By the first 5min of the video you'll have 17 extended double crochet and 16 spaces if you follow it correctly. So, if you want to make the width larger you can make it longer in multiples of 8 spaces. It's less confusing if you count the spaces instead of the extended double crochet. So in theory if you don't adjust the width you'll have 16 spaces. [It looks like:(4, 8, 4)]. And if you want to increase the width, the next number of spaces you would need are 16+8= 24 spaces. [It now looks like [4, 8, 8, 4] And if you want to increase it again then you would add another 8 spaces to make [4, 8, 8, 8, 4] etc. Check out my channel SteakTarTar for more crochet videos, lace projects and tutorials- and SUBSCRIBE for more crochet patterns, stitches, and tutorials!
