One of the things I try to stick to is to my make basic ingredients myself, like my own chocolate sauce, praline, invert sugar, you name it! This way one can be sure of what is in the stuff you're eating, but of course if I'm short on time then store bought it is, no shame on that!
I wanted to show you how you can make your own marzipan, this thing is delicious and super versatile, you can use it in cakes, cookies and, my favourite, chocolate bonbons! Yum!

200g sugar
45g inverted sugar
80g water
200g ground almonds
Few drops of almond extract
